OK THAT ALMOST MADE ME PEE IN MY PANTS

The Road Not Taken
TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
SO about me- well here's the thing... I am not really all that easily impressed BUT Criss impresses the hell out of me. I am newly exposed to him too- weird I know. Some kid that works for me was going on and on one day about him and how he was even kind of scary... he was referring to the Scam episode of Mindfreak where he communicated with the dead!!! In fact it scared him so much (even though Criss even said he was illustrating how scams occur) that he would not even deliver a toothbrush to a guest room late one night because he was afraid of ghosts!!! LOL so I just had to see about this guy Criss Angel and immediately as most of the Loyas got hooked right away.
I use to sing in a band which was wicked fun but I now have two kids and I am also raising 3 others for some wayward family members who are unable to do it themselves. 5 kids does not allow for much free time, but when I do have it I enjoy kick boxing, Tae Kwon Do, writing, and music. not necessarily in that order.....AND of course watching Criss do things that I know is impossible and can not figure out. I am kind of a realist but that is the thing about Criss- it all seems soooooo real and I know that it is an illusion but at the same time I can not begin to unravel the mystery in it which is actually why I love it. What else?? I am Director of Ops at a hotel which means I oversee a great deal of people. The work is hard but never boring and it also can be a bit of a mindfreak. I find that when you are hyper exposed to people you learn things you never knew existed in people and some you never want to know. I find the older I get the less tolerant I am of the a#@hole that thinks I am suppose to bow down and kiss his butt because he stays at my hotel and that he or she themselves are the very reason I even have a job or exist. I tell you what -you want to learn to be a mental bad ass...work as a cocktail waitress or bar tender for about 3 years, then go work at the front desk of a hotel for another 4 or 5 and I guarantee you will not only be an expert in human nature but also an expert in manipulating other people's minds. Thankfully for all the crazies there is 3 times that in good down to earth people that make it all worth while. I have some crazy damn stories though---unbelievable in their own right that I will one day turn into a book, publish, and retire comfortable on a beach somewhere. I am a woman of simple needs and simple wants and for the most part I take care of just about everything- not sure if that renders me old fashioned or just an outcome of upbringing. Criss is an escape- glad that crazy boy at work got me interested enough to check him out.
